1st day of camp

Is in college attempting to update my blog. Lets see how long this last. As I am going back around 4 and it is now 3.33. Lets just see how far I can go. As not many of you may know, I was away at camp from 17 December until 20 December. It was fun and filled with activities. I know, I know that I am a bit late as it is now 7 of January. What can I say, I have been to lazy and well mainly just lazy. I have no other reason or accuse as to why I did not update earlier.

Anyway, back to what I want to talk about. What was it again? Ah, Yes! CAMP! Now I remember. It was awesome but a bit disappointing on the first day. Here is why I say it was disappointing on the first day. Most of us practically spend the whole morning until lunch time in the bus. Yes you heard me. We were in the bus for the whole morning. You think it can't get worst than that, well that is where you are wrong. It just went from bad to worst. For me and 6 others that is. We were suppose to do rapeling down a cliff (I think). Anyway, as i was saying it was rather disappointing. Before we went to rapel down the so called cliff, we practically spend 1 hour learning how to tie 4 knots. Yes, you heard me correctly, 4 miserable knots. Finally when it was our turn to hike up the jungle, upon reaching the peak of the cliff, we had to wait again as people were going down the cliff at a rather slow pace. So after another our hour of waiting, we were told to hike back dowm the jungle again as it was getting dark. Oh, I forgot to mention that I almost got lost in the jungle.

So after that was not to bad, we had to wait in the cold until they figured out how to transport the few of us back to the barre centre. The best part was that I got to ride on the firetruck before everybody else did. I guess it was not to bad after all. Then after dinner we had war games where we had to throw water balloons at the enemy. But I would say that it is never a good idea to play any water games in Cameron Highlands. I was freaking cold after that. That concludes the first day. Will write the second day in another blog post.
